I grew up in the North East of England before studying at Art School in London. I worked as a Graphic Designer at studios in London’s Soho and Chelsea for many years before returning to the North East to work as a designer and then as a lecturer in the School of Design at Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne. I have been developing my print making alongside the lecturing and designing for several years now, enjoying the mix of the three disciplines.

My printmaking focusses on screenprinting, using a bold colour palette and simplified compositions to bring a fresh perspective to familiar and often overlooked scenes.
